Kisii School have booked a historic place in the 2025 KSSSA National 15s Rugby final after a sensational 12-3 victory over defending national and East African champions All Saints Embu in the semifinals held at Shimo La Tewa.
This marks Kisii’s maiden appearance in the final and only their third time competing at the Nationals. They secured the win by scoring two tries and adding a conversion to cap off a dominant performance against the titleholders.
In the title decider, Kisii will face Vihiga High School, who also made history by reaching their first national final. Vihiga edged out Upper Hill School 10-8 in a tightly contested second semifinal.
With their semifinal wins, both Kisii School and Vihiga High School have earned qualification for the East Africa Games, set to be held in Rift Valley, Kenya.
