South Coast Pirates have announced the departure of their forwards coach, Brian Nyikuli, after two years with the team.

The former Kenya Simbas captain joined the club on October 10, 2023, and played a crucial role in their historic promotion to the Kenya Cup.

Working alongside head coach Kevin Amiani, Nyikuli helped the team dominate and power through the 2023/24 KRU Championship to secure a top-tier spot.

However, after just one season in the Kenya Cup, the Pirates were relegated.

“South Coast Pirates bid farewell to coach Brian William Nyikuli after two years of service. The former Kenya Simbas captain brought invaluable experience and leadership to our squad,” the club announced.

“Under his guidance, we achieved a historic promotion to the Kenya Cup. His impact will be felt for years to come.”
