Bwake Boys have been crowned the 2025 Rift Valley Rugby 15s champions for the first time in their history after defeating the defending champions, St. Patrick’s Iten School, in an intense final played, Friday, March 15, 2025.
The side which stunned established sides to become 2024 National 7s Champions dominated the Rift Valley region in the longer version, contrary to expectations that defending champions St. Patrick’s Iten would prevail.
In the semi-finals, Bwake which has former Kitale RFC player Brevia Barasa as part of their coaches saw off former giants Menengai with Branol Chesoli scoring a penalty, followed by tries from John Wangoto and Dennis Mukhwana, sealing their victory over Menengai High with a score of 13-5.
In the final match, Bwake Boys stood tall Branol Chesoli earning them a penalty and conversion to a try from Dennis Mukhwana, ultimately defeating the defending champions 10-5.

This victory qualifies them for the National Rugby 15s Championship 2025 slated for Shanzu
In the third-place playoff, Kabianga Boys suffered a decisive 7-0 loss to Menengai High School.
