St. Mary’s Yala reaffirmed their dominance in Siaya County Rugby 15s, overpowering Ambira with a resounding 46-3 victory in the final.
Yala had a relatively comfortable run, conceding only three points in the final against Ambira.
In the semifinals, Yala cruised past Sawagongo with a 33-0 win, while Ambira fought hard to edge out Chianda 18-13 and secure their place in the final.

Both finalists have now qualified for the Nyanza Region School Games, set to take place at St. Pius Boys Uriri in Migori.
The tournament’s standout players and top try scorers were Innocent Murunda, Henry Odiwuor, and Ayub Shisia, all from Yala. Timothy Wesonga, also from Yala, finished as the top points scorer from kicks.
