Kenya Harlequin FC dominated Kisumu RFC with a decisive 36-22 victory, highlighted by an electrifying hat trick from winger Bill Abuom that propelled his team to success.
The match kicked off with Quins establishing their presence early, as Bill Abuom scored an unconverted try within minutes. Captain Sheldon Kahi quickly followed suit, crossing the line for a converted try that put Quins ahead 12-0.
KISUMU FIGHT BACK
Kisumu fought back, narrowing the gap to 12-5 with their first try, though the conversion attempt fell short. However, Kenya Harlequin responded emphatically, with Joshua Chisanga scoring another try and Faren Juma successfully converting, extending their lead to 19-5.
Kisumu managed to score again, but Quins continued to assert their dominance with a bonus point try from Charles Kinyanjui, which Juma converted to make it 26-10.
As the first half drew to a close, Kisumu found the end zone once more with a converted try, leaving them trailing 26-17 at halftime.

The second half saw Kenya Harlequin maintain their momentum. Bill Abuom added to his tally with a second try shortly after the break, although the conversion attempt was unsuccessful, pushing the score to 31-17.
Abuom then completed his hat trick with another impressive try, bringing the score to 36-17, despite a missed conversion.
In the closing moments of the match, Kisumu managed to secure a fourth unconverted try for a losing bonus point. However, it was not enough to change the outcome as Kenya Harlequin celebrated a well-earned 36-22 victory at the final whistle.
