The World 7s Series saw some significant changes, with Argentina once again impressing in Vancouver to be crowned champions.
A 19-12 victory over South Africa handed the Argentines another crucial 20 points, adding to the 16 and 12 they earned in previous outings, bringing their total to 68 points.

Spain continued their fine season, finishing third for the second consecutive time. They are now on 64 points, just four behind leaders Argentina.
Fiji are third place in the standings with 62 points, after picking up 14 points in Vancouver. They are tied with South Africa, who finished second in Canada.
France are in fifth place with 46 points, while Australia and New Zealand are tied on 38 points each.

Great Britain completed the top eight spots with 32 points, widening the gap between themselves and the relegation playoff zone, which has 17 points.
Despite a disappointing run in Vancouver, where they earned just one point, Kenya 7s still occupy the ninth position which with the relegation playoff zone with 15 points, tied with Uruguay in 10th.
The USA improved slightly in Vancouver, bringing their total to nine points, while Ireland are in the 12th position with seven points.
The World 7s Series will return in late March 2025 with the Hong Kong 7s.
