Nakuru RFC countinued to keep hope of survival alive as they pipped Strathmore Leos 23-22 at Strathmore Grounds on Saturday.
The match started with Nakuru opening the scoring in the first 10 minutes. Habbakuk Ouma touched down for the try, but their conversion attempt went wide.

Strath quickly responded with a try of their own, though their conversion was also off target.
Nakuru then extended their lead with a second try from Javan Otieno, but once again, the conversion was unsuccessful.
In response, Strath scored another try, but failed to convert.

A successful penalty from Fredrick Odongo pushed Nakuru further ahead, before Oscar Ouma scored a try for the visiting side.
Habbakuk Ouma converted successfully, and Nakuru went into the break leading 20-10.
Nakuru RFC hang on
In the second half, Strath came out strong, scoring a try under the posts through Shem Okola. Stephen Zola converted successfully, bringing the score to 20-17 in Nakuru’s favor. Nakuru responded with a penalty from Cyprian Ombaso, extending their lead to six points at 23-17.
Strath didn’t give up, and they scored again with a try, although the conversion was missed. The match ended with a tense finish, as Nakuru held on to win 23-22.
