Kabras RFC head coach Carlos Katywa has made 10 changes to his squad ahead of their Kenya Cup match against Kenya Harlequin at RFUEA Grounds, kicking off at 4:00 p.m.

The two sides meet again after their recent Enterprise Cup clash, with Katywa opting for a new front row. Ephraim Oduor, Eugine Sifuna, and Asuman Mugerwa start ahead of Edward Mwaura, Teddy Akala, and Emmanuel Otieno.

In the second row, Hillary Odhiambo returns to the starting lineup after coming off the bench last weekend. He partners with Shem Joseph, with Clinton Litali dropping out.

Industrious Patrick Sabatia moves to the back row to replace Collins Indeche, who is unavailable after receiving a red card last weekend.

Sabatia starts on the blindside flank, while George Nyambua returns to the starting lineup, pushing Gabriel Adero to the bench.

Roy Maruti earns a start at scrum-half after featuring off the bench last weekend. He replaces Barry Robinson, who limped off in the previous match.

Ntabeni Dukisa makes his first start of the season at fly-half after recovering from an ankle injury sustained in the Kenya Simbas camp last November.

Walter Okoth continues at the inside centre, while Brian Mutua returns to play at the outside centre.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Alfred Orege retains his spot on the blindside wing, while league top scorer Griffin Chao starts on the openside after resting last weekend.

Eric Cantona, fresh from scoring a hat-trick against Quins last weekend, retains his place at fullback.

The bench has been boosted by the return of Bryceson Adaka, who was sidelined with an injury sustained in the Rugby Africa Cup in July 2024 and had been linked with a move away from the club.

Lamec Ambetsa has been named on the bench and could make his first appearance of the season. Youngsters Darrell Oluoch and Jacktone Osoo also earn spots on the bench.

Kabras have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning their last seven Kenya Cup encounters against Quins since their 19-13 loss in 2017.
