Pau Murunga names Juma, Nyang in Kenya Harlequin squad to face Kabras

Kenya Harlequin Head Coach Paul Murunga has unveiled his squad for the Enterprise Cup quarterfinal match scheduled to take place at Kakamega Showground, kicking off at 3:00 p.m.

The team has received a significant boost with the return of Leeon Nyang, who starts at full-back after missing the last three matches. Dave Mwangi will feature on the right wing, while Leonald Fogang takes up the left wing position.

Paul Mutsami retains his spot at inside centre, partnering with Jan Remke, who starts at outside centre. Richel Wangila is unavailable once again, while Wiseman Aganya also misses his first match of the year.


Patrick Wainaina continues at scrum-half, filling the void left by Lucky Dewald, who is set to miss his fourth consecutive match alongside Wangila. Kenya U20 fly-half Faran Juma steps into the number 10 role in Michael Ochieng’s absence, with Ervin Asena named on the bench.

Brighton Mwalawa comes in to replace Edward Shitanda at number eight, while former Kabras forward Charlton Mokua starts on the blindside flank. Bill Abuom takes the openside flank position.

In the second row, Bradley Odero earns his first start of the season and will partner with Sheldon Kahi, who has transitioned to the second row this year.


The front row comprises Dessaily Wafula, George Otieno, and Abel Matanda. The bench features Joshua Chisanga, Mike Munene, Winston Otieno, Adams Jaika, Vincent Omondi, Arnold Onzere, and Mathew Ouma, offering depth and impact options.
