Vihiga High School emerged victorious at the 2025 Maseno Opens-Amadi Tournament, cementing their place after a hard-fought journey to the title.
The path to the final saw them with all their two matches on day one On day two, it began with a tense quarterfinal clash against St Antony A. Vihiga edged out their opponents 6-3 in a low-scoring encounter that showcased their defensive prowess with the kickers deciding the match.
In the semifinals, they faced Mukumu in a thrilling match. Vihiga secured a 14-6 victory, earning them a spot in the final.

The championship decider pitted Vihiga against Yala, who had also shown impressive form throughout the tournament. However, Vihiga proved too strong, dominating the final with a convincing 21-3 win.
