Vihiga High School kicked off their Maseno Opens 15s campaign in style with back-to-back victories at Maseno School on Saturday.
The Vihiga County 15s champions began with a 12-3 win, scoring two tries and converting one. They followed it up with a 12-7 triumph over Bwakwe A, once again landing two tries and converting one.
Mukumu Boys also registered two wins, starting with a 29-20 victory over hosts Maseno before edging St Anthony B with a narrow 3-0 scoreline. Meanwhile, Bungoma claimed victories over St Anthony and Bondo Township.

The tournament will proceed to the knockout phase on Sunday, where the overall winner will be determined.
