Menengai Oilers secured back-to-back victories at Nakuru Athletics Club for the first time since their promotion, defeating Nakuru RFC 34-15 in the Nakuru Derby.
This was the eighth meeting between the two sides, with Oilers having won four of the previous seven encounters. Their first victory at NAC came in a 19-10 result.

Oilers opened the scoring with a penalty try before Nakuru responded with a converted try to level the scores.
Back rower Elkeans Musonye then crossed the line for Oilers’ second try, giving them a 12-7 lead after Abutwalib Wesonga’s conversion attempt went wide.
Andrew Odero added a third try, with Wesonga converting to extend the lead to 19-7 at halftime.

In the second half, Clinton Odhiambo scored the bonus-point try, followed by a conversion from Wesonga to push the lead to 26-7.
A penalty from Timothy Omela added three more points before Odhiambo completed his brace, securing a 34-15 victory for the Oilers.
