Menengai Oilers extended their winning start to the season defeating Strathmore Leos 38-08 at Strathmore University making it their second Kenya Cup win.
The game started off well for Oilers in the first half as they managed to score more points than Strathmore Leos.
Vincent Mwikhali scored the first try for Oilers in the sixth minute which was backed up a few seconds later Timothy Omela’s conversion.
Menengai Oilers later on got two tries and conversion from Amos Obae, Charles Osgood and Omela earning them a good lead of 21-0.

In the second half Strathmore Leos responded with a penalty from Arnold Muita trying to catch up with Oilers but it was all in vain as Hibrahim Ayoo, Obae with his second and Emmanuel Mulindo scored a try each for Oilers adding to 38-03.
Strathmore scored a try but it was too late as the game ended by 38-8 with Menengai Oilers emerging as winners.
