Their elevation follows the absence of Vincent Onyala and Tony Omondi, who captained the team during the Challenger Series, securing Kenya’s spot back in the World Series but are yet to sign new deals.
Ooro and Asati will now lead the squad as they return in the HSBC Series, stepping into the shoes of former captain Nelson Oyoo.
Kenya will start their run in pool A of the Dubai 7s against France, South Africa and Australia as they look to maintain their place in the HSBC series playing against the best 12 teams.
