Kitaka 10s men’s and rugby pools have been announced with Kenya Harlequins representing Kenya in Pool A.
12 men’s teams and six women’s teams are expected to participate in the two-day tournament from 26-27 th October 2024 at Kings Park Area, Bweyogerere.
The tournament is divided into three pools with 2024 National 7s champions, Kenya Harlequin in pool A where they will be competing against Buffaloes, Sailors and Silverbacks.
In pool B, last year’s finalists Black Pirates will compete against the Rams, Elgon Wolves and Tororo Crests. The final pool has KOBs who will compete against Rhinos, Kampani Eagles and Makerere Select.

Harlequin will be using this tournament as a preparatory ground for the upcoming 2023/2024 Kenya Cup season, slated to begin in November. Their participation in Kitaka 10s has led them to forgo the 2024 Impala Floodlit tournament, their usual pre-season event.
Last year’s edition of the tournament saw Nondescripts bag the title in the Men’s category with Uganda’s Black Pearls winning the title in the women’s category.
