KCB Rugby change 12 for CUEA, ex-Oilers prop and Kenya u20 skipper among starters

KCB Rugby have confirmed its lineup for the Impala Floodlit semi-final against Catholic Monks, scheduled for Saturday evening at Impala Club.

The front row sees a complete overhaul, with Patrick Ouko, Griffin Musila, and Nelson Nyandat making way for Nick Okullo, Wilfred Waswa, and former Menengai Oilers player Eric Miheso, who joins as a new signing.

KCB Rugby changes

Emmanuel Silungu is included in the starting lineup, replacing Brian Munyali, while the experienced Davis Chenge retains his position in the pack. Elvis Olukusi starts in the back row alongside former Kenya U20 captain and Kenya Harlequin player Laban Kipsang, with Peter Waitere holding down the number eight spot.

Kenya 7s scrum-half Samuel Asati starts at scrum-half, partnered by Brian Wahinya at fly-half, as Michael Wanjala and Smith Muhoya step out of the starting XV.

In the back three, Gabriel Namusasi is joined by new signing Floyd Wabwire, who will make his 15s debut, and Isaac Njoroge. Jacob Ojee, William Opaka, and Davis Nyaundi are omitted from the starting squad.

Levy Amunga starts in the midfield, partnering with Austine Sikutwa. The Bankers are determined to bounce back after a close 9-8 loss to Blak Blad.
