Heathens maintain top spot on National 7s Series after Mbarara 7s

The 2024 Uganda National 7s series entered its sixth round last weekend September 28-29 at the Ntare School rugby pitch in Kakyeka with KOBs being crowned champions.

In the overall standings, Heathens maintain the top spot with 108 points despite finishing fifth in Mbarara, Pirates who finished third in Mbarara are second placed with 103 points while Mbarara 7s champions KOBs RFC find themselves in third position with 89 points.

National 7s Series 4th place

Buffaloes have managed 88 points so far and are ranked fourth and are closely followed by Hippos who are fifth with 83 points.

Walukuba Barbarians are sixth and have accumulated 81 points so far after the six rounds whereas Rhinos occupy the seventh position with 77 points.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

At the eighth position is Mongers who have 54 points to their name while Rams, Elgon Wolves, Warriors and Impis RFC are bottom placed and complete the standings with 53, 44, 33 and 23 points respectively.

Uganda 2024 Nile Special 7s Series will officially enter its final round next weekend October 5-6 2024 with the Henry Rujumba Memorial 7s at Kings Park in Bwogerere and will be hosted by Black Pirates RFC.
