Former Kenya Cup champions KCB Rugby have announced new leadership for the upcoming 2024/25 season, set to commence in November.
Experienced winger Jacob Ojee has been named the new team captain, taking over from Kenya Simbas hooker Griffin Musila, who held the role last season.

Ojee will be supported by Peter Waitere, who will serve as his assistant as the team aims to reclaim top honors in the 15s format.

KCB Rugby have made several adjustments to their technical bench. Club legend Oliver Mange’ni was appointed as the new head coach, replacing the long-serving Curtis Olago.

Olago, who had been with the club since 2011, parted ways with KCB after the expiry of his contract. During his tenure, Olago led the team to multiple Kenya Cup titles, Impala Floodlit titles, and a National 7s Circuit victory before focusing fully on the longer version of the game.

Coach Mike Shamiah has also left the club, other members of Olago’s backroom staff, are expected to depart as well.
