The 2024 edition of the Elgon Cup schedule has been confirmed ahead of the action set to be played in November 2024.
In an announcement made by Kenya Rugby Union chairman Sasha Mutai. The showdown which will involve Uganda Rugby Cranes and Kenya’s 15s side Kenya Simbas, will be played between the teams home and away in November.
Uganda are set to host the first leg on 2nd November 2024 while the second leg will be played a week later in Nairobi on 9th November 2024.

Kenya have dominated the Elgon Cup since its inception in 2004, winning 13 titles against Uganda’s three, the Simbas will begin preparations for the cup when the National Sevens Series concludes next month and will be seeking to bag victory in both legs after losing to Uganda 21-20 in Kampala but managed a 20-13 victory in Kisumu last year.
