The second circuit of 2024 Nile Special 7s Series- Mbale 7s was off to a flying start with teams like Kobs RFC, Heathens and Entebbe 7s champions Rhinos registering positive results as the Series returned to Busamaga grounds for the first time since 2019.
In round one results, the first match of the day Kobs were too strong for the Warriors as they scored three tries to claim a 19-07 victory. Warriors were also beaten 21-05 by Mongers registering two straight defeats.
Rams secured a 14-12 win over Hippos in a thrilling match while Walukuba inflicted a 17-05 loss on the hosts Mbale Elephants as Pirates secured a huge win of 31-00 over Impis.
Invitation side Njeru Hurricanes had a false start suffering 17-7 loss over Buffaloes, Heathens beat Elgon Wolves 35-07 while Entebbe 7s champions Rhinos RFC beat invitational side Kakira Simbas 19-05.

Day one of the Mbale 7s will enter Round two with exciting matches lined ahead Kobs are set to face Busitema Boons in the first match while Mongers will play against Warriors.
Hosts Mbale Elephants will seek to redeem themselves as they face Hippos, Walukuba are set to play Rams whereas Pirates will lock horns with Njeru Hurricanes,
Buffaloes will be seeking for more points as they face Impis RFC while Heathens will play against Kakira Simbas, in the last match of round two Rhinos will battle it out with Elgon Wolves.
