Strathmore Leos include Shujaa duo in Dala 7s squad

Strathmore Leos head coach Willis Ojal has announced five changes to his squad for the Dala 7s tournament at Mamboleo Grounds in Kisumu County this weekend.

George Oroo and Nygel Amaitsa return to the squad after their involvement with Kenya 7s in the Olympics, providing a significant boost.

Strathmore Leos recall Ayimba

Gabriel Ayimba also reclaims his spot after missing the first two legs of the season. New additions Derrick Oginya and Dennis Mbilah are set to make their mark.

Barnabas Owour, Joseph Otieno, Collins Maina, Victor Odhiambo, and Matoka Matoka have been omitted to make way for the fresh inclusions.

Captain Shem Okola will lead a team that includes Stanslaus Shikoli, Leo Opiayo, Arnold Muita, Gideon Makumi, Brian Mwendwa, and Elton Amalemba.

Strathmore Leos, who secured the Dala 7s title in 2013, have been drawn into a competitive pool alongside Kenya Harlequin, Mwamba RFC, and Menengai Oilers.

After a quarterfinal exit at the Kakamega Ingo 7s, the Leos are determined to make a strong comeback at the Dala 7s.
