KCB Rugby has strengthened their squad with the addition of Kenya 7s players for the upcoming Dala 7s tournament, set to take place at Mamboleo Ground on Saturday and Sunday.
Samuel Asati, who represented Kenya at the Olympics, and Festus Shiasi, who was a reserve in the Olympics, are joining the team.

Jacob Ojee also returns to the squad after missing the Kakamega 7s. Ojee, who has previously won the Dala 7s title with KCB in 2014, 2019, and 2023, will be looking to continue his successful run.
Kenya U20 player Michael Wamalwa, who had an impactful performance at Kakamega, retains his spot in the squad along with Austin Sikutwa, Elvis Olukusi, Trevor Odawa, Lionel Ajeliti, Bob Muhati, Elphas Adunga, Emmanuel Opondo, and Levy Amunga.

KCB heads into the Dala 7s as one of the most successful clubs in the tournament’s history, having won the event in 2004, 2006, 2014, 2019, and 2023.
This weekend, they are pooled alongside Nondescript RFC, KU Blakblad, and Homeboyz RFC. Last year, KCB defeated Kabras 17-5 to claim the Dala 7s trophy.
