Rugby on the Road (RoR) secured the Meru 7s title with an emphatic 33-0 victory over Embu RFC in the final held at Kinoru Stadium.
Demonstrating their prowess, RoR landed five tries and converted four, maintaining their dominance throughout the match.
The triumph adds to RoR’s impressive track record, following their wins at the Genowa 10s in 2023 and the Chebarbar 7s in 2022.
The team, composed of players from various clubs, started the tournament strongly on Saturday and maintained their momentum into Sunday.
In the semifinal, RoR delivered a crushing 40-0 defeat to TUM, while Embu RFC secured their spot in the final with a 21-10 victory over Mean Machine.

In the quarterfinals, RoR eliminated Chuka with a decisive 47-0 win, and Embu edged out host team Meru RFC with a 17-5 victory.
Mean Machine settled for third place after overcoming TUM in the third-place playoff.
