Koelel Forces Academy rugby team clinched the Gilgil Sub County Championship title after a dominant 41-0 victory over Utumishi in the final played on Saturday.
The champions showcased their prowess by scoring seven tries and successfully converting three, securing their qualification for the Nakuru County games.

Koelel, who featured in the 2024 Scrummage Katch and exited at the quarterfinal stage, demonstrated an impressive run throughout the tournament.
Over five matches, they amassed a total of 254 points, averaging 50.8 points per match.

Their campaign began with a commanding 61-0 win over Gilgil Day in the opener, followed by a 54-0 victory against Nderit.
They concluded the group stage with a 53-0 triumph over Garrison.
In the semifinals, Koelel defeated Kahuho 45-0, securing their place in the final where they ultimately claimed the championship title.
