The pools for the highly anticipated Kakamega County 7s Rugby have been announced, with 25 teams set to clash at St. Peter’s Mumias from June 19-22.
National Champions and County defending champions, Koyonzo Boys, have been seeded at the top. They headline Pool A after finishing first in the Matungu sub-county, alongside St. Joseph Mumias, Lubinu Boys, Kilimani Secondary, and Shanjero Secondary.
Kakamega County 7s pool B
The hosts, and former champions St. Peter’s Mumias, will be looking to capitalize on their home advantage in Pool B. They are grouped with Mwira Secondary, Ingotse Boys, Mabole, and Ikonyero Secondary.

Former champions Kakamega School find themselves in a competitive Pool C, where they will face off against Mwihila Boys, St. Augustine Mlimani, and St. Augustine Soysambu.

Pool D features Mukumu Boys, the Scrummage Katch 7s finalists. They will compete against Kivaywa Boys, Mwitoti, and St. Mukasa Secondary.
In Pool E, former champions Musingu Boys will battle it out with Chebuyusi Boys, Shamberere Boys, and Makhokho Secondary.

Rounding out the tournament, Pool F comprises Butere Boys, St. Paul’s Lugari Boys, and Malava Boys.
