Vihiga High School have qualified for the Vihiga County School games after winning all their sub-county matches.
Abdallah Abubakar’s team dominated their opponents, whipping Idavaga 50-0, thrashing Magui 44-0, drubbing Masana 40-0, and defeating Kegoye 22-0.

This performance also saw Kegoye and Idavaga qualify, finishing second and third respectively.
Vihiga High School are aiming for another impressive run in the sevens games, having previously featured in the Rugby Sevens finals from county to East African games in the 2023 campaign.
They head to the school games with confidence, having won the Scrummage Katch 7s held at Kakamega School two weeks ago. In the final, they defeated Mukumu 26-5.

The East African 7s and National finalists staged a comeback to win the tournament, organized by Scrummage Africa in partnership with Kakamega School.
To reach the Scrummage Katch 7s final, Vihiga defeated hosts Kakamega School in the semifinals in sudden death and edged out Koelel in the quarterfinals.
