Monate Akuei handed a start by MLR side Seawolves

Former Nakuru RFC forward Monate Akuei has been handed a start for Major League Rugby side Seattle Seawolves as they face Old Glory rugby at Starfire Sports on Saturday.

His chance with the Seattle Seawolves comes just days after he featured for Austin Black Rugby in Texas.

Akuei, who represented Kenya 7s and Simbas in 2019, will partner with former Worcester flanker Huw Taylor and American forward Pago Haini.
