Xavier Kipngetich emerged as the standout performer at the Mwamba RFC annual awards, held on Saturday in Upper Hill.
The talented halfback clinched three prestigious awards during the event. Not only did he secure the Fans Player of the Year title, but he also claimed the Players Player of the Year award and was honoured as the Top Points Scorer.
Ishmael Mokaya was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the Year, while Steve Sikuta received the Coaches Player of the Year accolade.

In addition, Joel Inzuga was celebrated as the top try scorer, with Collins Odhiambo earning the title of Most Improved Player.
The Young Player of the Year was selected by Dennis Ndayala, while Kelvin ‘Bling’ Wambua was named Trainer of the Year.
Despite facing challenges, Mwamba RFC finished in eighth place on the log, securing five wins and enduring six losses throughout the season. Kulabu accumulated a total of 24 points in their campaign.
