Ahead of the 31st edition of the Great Rift 10s tournament scheduled for Nakuru Athletic Club this Saturday, the pools have been revised for the participating teams.
KCB Rugby and Kenya Harlequin will be absent from the event, while Kabras RFC and Blak Blad are set to make appearances.
Great Rift 10s Pool A
Hosts Nakuru RFC, who secured second place in the previous year’s tournament, are now seeded at the top of Pool A. They will face off against Molo, Menengai Oilers’ second side Zuri, and NYS Spades.
Kabras RFC, making a return to the competition, have been placed in Pool B alongside Egerton Wasps, Mean Machine, and Strathmore Leos.
The final pool comprises 2019 Champions Menengai Oilers Cream, Kabarak University, CUEA Monks, and Blak Blad.

The tournament, renowned in rugby circles, made a comeback to the schedule last year after a three-year hiatus and featured six teams.
In the 2023 edition, KCB emerged victorious, defeating Nakuru 24-12 to claim the title.
