The sixth round of the World Rugby HSBC SVNS series 2024 happened in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong stadium from 5th-7th April 2024 with New Zealand being crowned champions.
In the standings, Argentina who finished a distant ninth place in Hong Kong earning only 4 points currently sit top with 94 points after six rounds.
Ireland are ranked second with 86 points, Ireland secured the bronze medal as they beat Australia by 14-5 to keep up the pressure on HSBC SVNS leaders Argentina going into the final round in Singapore, Double Olympic Champions Fiji are third with 76 points, ahead of France who are fourth with 74 points.

Hong Kong winners New Zealand sit in the fifth position with 73 points. New Zealand won a tightly contested final 10-7 against France at the Hong Kong stadium.
Australia are at the sixth position with 69 points after accumulating 14 points in Hong Kong while South Africa find themselves in the seventh position with 58 points, accumulating only 10 points from Hong Kong.
The USA hold the 8th position with 44 points followed by Great Britain with 37 points. Spain have 33 points, Samoa 23, Canada are bottom placed with 13 points after managing only one point at the Hong Kong Sevens
The HSBC SVNS action continues with the final regular season round at the National Stadium in Singapore on 3-5 May where the SVNS League Winners will be crowned.
Before the winner takes all HSBC SVNS Grand Final in Madrid on 31 May – 2 June, teams ranked ninth to 12th will join the top four teams from the World Rugby Sevens Challenger, with the top four securing their place in HSBC SVNS 2025.
