Uganda Rugby Championship match day 9 fixtures were held Saturday 6th April 2024 at different venues countrywide.
At the Dhaira memorial stadium Impis RFC were handed their seventh defeat in the league after being beaten 24-08 by Walukuba Barbarians.
Walukuba opened the scoring with a try but missed on the conversion before Impis landing a penalty after several attempts making matters to be 05-03 at the break.
Moments into the second half Walukuba had their second try and added the extras,Impis responded with a try through their number 8 Pius Mpoza but his conversion went wide bringing the scores to 12-08.

In the dying minutes Walukuba scored two tries past Impis defence but the last one was unsuccessfully converted bringing the scores to 24-08 at Full time marking Impis RFC’s seventh defeat of the season after 9 rounds.
At the Damwaters Rugby club Jinja Hippos recorded a resounding victory of 58-24 over Warriors while Heathens pummeled Kampani Eagles 36-00 in a match played at the Kyandondo Rugby club.
In Entebbe Mongers were humbled 16-21 at home,Buffaloes picked a 19-00 win over Rams in a match played at the graveyard,Makerere while at the Legend rugby grounds Black pirates defeated Rhinos 17-11.
In the standings Heathens sit top and are in the driving seat with a superior points differential of +192 and 38 points,they are closey followed by Jinja Hippos who sit second with 35 points.
Black pirates are ranked third with 28 points and are level on points with KCB Kobs who are fourth.
Buffaloes and Mongers are also tied on 27 points at position five and six respectively.
Completing the playoff places are Rhinos who are seventh with 23 points ahead of eighth placed Walukuba Barbarians with 22 points,Eagles,Impis,warriors and Rams are in the relegation playoff places.
