Kisii School, St Mary’s Yala set to meet in the Nyanza Region Schools Rugby 15s final after tense regional games.
Kisii School started their day two encounter with a 24-00 win over Agoro Sare, a game which saw Clinton Nyasende, Bejil Ochieng’, Dickson Ongoro and Morgan Ochieng score tries with two successful conversions by Matrix Matangi.
In the semis, Kisii played a hard game against formidable opponents Maseno School which was tied before Matrix Matangi sealed Kisii’s win with a well-taken penalty kick to end the game 03-00.

St. Mary’s Yala also had a tough start in the second day as they drew with Maseno School after the final whistle, the game ending 0-0.
In the second semi finals, St. Mary’s Yala still also managed a narrow 08-05 against Nyabondo after a late penalty kick was successful and boosted their score to qualify for the finals.
Maseno School will play Nyabondo boys in the playoffs before the interesting final match.
