The Eric Shirley Shield competition is reaching its climax as the playoffs stage approaches this weekend, with two exciting matches on the cards following the conclusion of the regular season.
KCB and Kabras have secured home semi-finals and will enjoy a rest this weekend as they eagerly await the outcomes of the deciders.

In the playoffs, Menengai Oilers will take on Blak Blad, who finished sixth in the campaign, while Kenya Harlequin will face Nondies in a rematch of last weekend’s encounter, which Quins emerged victorious from.
In the final standings, KCB Rugby sit comfortably at the top of the log, maintaining an unbeaten streak for yet another season. The bankers amassed 51 points from 10 wins and one draw throughout the campaign.
Kabras RFC also had an impressive season, securing 10 wins and one draw against KCB Rugby, totaling 51 points, although they had a slightly lower point differential.

Oilers finished third on the log with 45 points, securing nine wins, while Quins claimed fourth place with 39 points. Nondies secured fifth place with 33 points after notching up seven wins.
Blak Blad from Kenyatta University secured six wins and finished the campaign with 29 points. Meanwhile, Mwamba accumulated 23 points, Strathmore Leos gathered 18 points, and Nakuru RFC ended with 11 points.
