Kabras RFC have earned praise from one of its newest recruits, Brian Mutua, who described the club as “the best set-up” he has ever been in.
Mutua, a versatile utility back, joined Kabras in January and has quickly made his mark on the team.
Despite having only two starts for the club, Mutua has proven to be impactful off the bench, scoring over six tries in just seven appearances.
His debut against former club Homeboyz was memorable, as he found the try line to announce his arrival at Kabras.
Reflecting on his experience at the club, Mutua expressed his admiration for the coaching staff, management, and overall environment at Kabras, describing it as a “very good platform” for his rugby career.
“I can say it’s the best set-up I have ever been in. From coaching to management to everyone. It’s a very good platform, Mutua told the Club media.

“The most rewarding part is winning,” Mutua said when asked about the highlights of being part of the Kabras camp. “Not that any team cannot win, but this one is totally different. Another reward is everyone appreciating what you can do for the team.”
Despite his limited starts, Mutua has excelled whenever called upon, attributing his success to clear instructions from the coaching staff.
Looking ahead, he emphasized his commitment to giving his best whenever he steps onto the field for Kabras.
