Makueni RFC name squad for the Ukambani Derby against Masaku RFC

The head coach of Makueni, Emmanuel Mwau, has named a 24-man squad for their match against Masaku RFC in the Ukambani Derby on Saturday, March 2nd at Kabete Poly starting at 1 pm.

The squad will be led by Sawaya Louis and he will be assisted by his vices Dennis Odhiambo and Benard Mulei.

Duncan Amonde will start as fullback and he will link the wingers Brian Kavita ( right winger) and Eddie Masinde( left winger).

Centers Ambrose Karichu and Dedan Gichuki will work alongside the halfbacks Wallace Kiarie who will start at scrum-half and Benard Mulei at fly-half.

The front row will be made up of Sawaya Louis who will be the loosehead prop, Dennis Ochieng who will get the node at hooker and the tighthead prop Titus Kasili.

Clyde Ochieng will be the number 4 lock while William Awillo will be the number 5 lock. They will link the front row to the back row which will feature Dennis Ochieng (openside flanker), Rian Odhiambo (blindside flanker), and finally Dominic Sande who will start at number 8.

Kilian Anyangu, Paul Muteti, Ibrahim Franklin, Celestine Chache, Joseph Kilonzo, Sammy Ochieng, Joseph Kilonzo, Collins Swala, and Stephen Mwanzia will make Makueni’s strong and experienced bench.
