Argentina clinched their third consecutive championship title in the HSBC SVNS series 2024, making history at the fourth round held in Vancouver, Canada.
They secured victory by defeating New Zealand 36-12 in the finals. This win reaffirmed Argentina’s dominance in the HSBC SVNS 2024 campaign as they maintained the lead in the standings with 78 points.
Ireland follow closely behind with 54 points, having earned 12 points in Vancouver. Fiji shares the same point tally but with 10 points from Vancouver.
New Zealand sit in fourth place with 50 points after accumulating 18 points in Vancouver, while Australia trail closely behind with 47 points.

South Africa occupy the sixth position with 47 points but only managed to secure three points from Vancouver 7s. France hold the seventh position with 36 points, followed by the USA with 30 points. Samoa have 20 points, Great Britain 17, Spain 13, and Canada close the standings with 11 points, having earned just one point at the Vancouver 7s.
With only three rounds left in the 2023/2024 season, Madrid will host the crucial relegation play-off competition. Teams ranked ninth to 12th will join the top four teams from the World Rugby Sevens Challenger, with the top four securing their place in HSBC SVNS 2025.
