KCB Rugby extended their fine run picking maximum points with a 47-8 win away at Blak Blad in a match played at the Kenyatta University grounds.
Heading into the Thika Road Derby KCB were keen to pick a bonus point after missing on it last week against Nakuru RFC while the hosts were keen to pull a surprise.
KCB took the lead minutes into the game before Blak Blad responded quickly with a well-taken penalty kick for a 7-3 score.
KCB scored their second try through Mike Kimwele but Ajeliti Lionel missed the conversion to bring the scores to 12-3.
Blak Blad managed their first try of the match before Lock Elvis Olukusi of KCB got his name on the scoresheet with a try which Ajeliti Lionel made no mistakes in converting to extend their lead to 19-8 as both sides went for the breather.
KCB proved too strong for Blak Blad after the halftime break as Bob Muhati scored a try which Ajeliti Lionel converted successfully extending their lead to 26-8.

William Opaka came in for Darwin Mukidza and Opaka didn’t waste any time to keep the scoreboard ticking when he crossed over for a try with Ajeliti Lionel adding the extras for 33-8 lead.
KCB could not stop scoring as they put two converted tries past Blak Blad in the dying minutes of the game for a 47-8 win at full time.
