Kenya Cup Champions Kabras RFC picked a routine win over Nakuru RFC whipping the side 66-7 win in a match played at Kakamega Showground.
The match saw Brian Juma and Mathias Osimbo land a brace each. Back-rower Patrick Lumumba landed the opening try for Kabras with Ntabeni Dukisa adding the extras.

Wingers followed suit with Mathias Osimbo’s try while Brian Mutua sold a dummy on his first start of the season and landed the third try, which Dukisa converted for a 21-0 lead.
Osimbo landed his second try of the day and Dukisa missed to add the extras as the scoresheet changed to 26-0. Scrum-half Brian Tanga had a quick restart off a Kabras penalty and paced on to touch down Kabras’ fifth try which was converted.
Nakuru became the second side to score a try against Kabras who had gone over 440 minutes without conceding. Wanyore breached the Kabras’ defence and converted for 33-7 at halftime.

In the second half, Alfred Orege came off the bench and scored a try that Dukisa converted for a 40-7 lead. Hooker Eugene Sifuna powered through the Nakuru defence off the base of a ruck for another try. Dukisa converted for a 47-7.
Geoffrey Shitambasi came off the bench and he sold a dummy and set up Brian Juma for a Kabras try that Eric Cantona converted.
Walter Okoth also scored and Cantona converted and Juma sealed the victory with his second try of the day as Kabras moved to 35 points on top of the log.
