Mean Machine include 3 debutantes for their clash against Impala RFC

Mean Machine Head coach Nicholas Abok, has announced his side’s lineup to face Impala RFC in the fifth round of the KRU Championship on January 20th, 2024 at the Impala grounds from 3 pm.

In their upcoming match, Hannington Naye, Ian Mwangi, and Sebastian Kamau are the new additions to the squad all set for their debut.

Victor Mwangi will be the team captain with James Oluoch as the vice-captain. Machine’s front row will include Brian Makaya as the loosehead prop, Renson Anuna as the hooker, and James Oluoch as the tighthead prop.

Mathew Angenyi will be the number 4 lock, and Paul Nyaemo will be the number 5 lock. Naye will start as the blindside flanker, Leon Gaunya will be at openside, and Felix Ochieng will be the number 8.

Machine’s halfback pairing will consist of Mwangi as the scrum-half and Norman Felix as the fly-half. They will work in tandem with Alex Wambura, the inside centre, and Patrick Odhiambo, the outside centre.

Kenneth Omaset will start on the left wing, Dan Moriongi will be on the right wing, and Bill Jeffords will be the fullback.

The machine’s replacements will be Walter Oyugi, Ian Mwangi, Sebastian Kamau, Bill Abuom, Noel Nyawanda, Edwin Kinyua, and Nelson Rakama.
