Di Baddest Cup will be going down this weekend at KCB Sports Club with the match pitting KCB Rugby and Strathmore Leos.
KCB and Strathmore Leos decided to rename this fixture Di Baddest Cup to commemorate the passing on of their former front rower Jerry Olola who passed on mid 2022 while undergoing treatment.
Olola who featured for the the teams in his late days before his ultimate demise, was a key figure for both teams. This year’s match will be the second edition of the derby cup which was first held earlier last year.
In last year’s match, KCB managed to walk away with the bragging rights having defeated Strathmore Leos 33-18 in a tough match held at the den in Ruaraka. This year’s showdown will also be held at the KCB sports club, Ruaraka.
For a fallen brother, a friend and an amazing teammate.
You are loved, you are missed and you are remembered @OlolaJerry .
Who do you think is “Di Baddest”, the Lions or the @strathleos27 ?
