Menengai Oilers defeated Mwamba RFC 67-0 in their second match of the 2o23/24 Kenya Cup season in the early kick off match held at Impala Rugby Grounds.
The Oilers picked up from where they left off last weekend as they ran rampant against hapless Mwamba RFC. Oilers asserted their dominance, particularly through their industrious forward pack led by captain Ibrahim Ayoo.
Oilers scrumhalf Sam Onsomu floated in a 10m pass to his left finding an unmarked Oilers player who dived over for Oilers first try. Minutes later, the visitors kept the scoreboard ticking when Clinton Odhiambo went over for Oiler’s second try off the back of a rolling maul. The try was converted for a 12-0 lead.
