Impala rugby team emerged victorious over the Western Bulls with a final score of 18-08 in their 2023/24 Kenya Cup second match.
The game started well for Impala, as they scored a penalty through Oongo Quinto.
However, Western Bulls quickly turned the score around with a try from winger Nickson Manduku and a penalty from Dan Kibet.
Impala managed to score through a penalty try just before halftime, taking the lead with a score of 10-8.

In the second half, Impala’s Quinto scored a try and another penalty, giving the team an 8-point lead. The game ended with Quinto’s penalty, marking a final score of 18-8.
Impala missed a bonus from the match and they moved to nine points on the league table. Bulls on the other hand missed a losing bonus point and after losing with a gap of nine points.
In Juja, Daystar Falcons staged a comeback to beat JKUAT 22-12. The match pitting MMUST and Mean Machine failed to kick off as planned.
