Kabras RFC lock Shem Joseph Anguyo has undergone surgery following a knee injury he suffered during the 2022/23 season campaign.
The towering lock took to social media to share that he had a successful surgery and mentioned that he is embarking on the healing journey, hoping to get back to action soon.
“Surgery done. It’s time to heal and get back to work soon. Thank you all for the support,” the player announced.

In his and Brian Juma’s absence, the club used a lock combination of Hillary Odhiambo and Andrew Wangila who recently joined after parting ways with Menengai Oilers during their match against Kisumu RFC. Kabras won the match 72-10.

Shem joined Kabras from Kenya Cup side Impala Saracens and was part of the squad since 2021, 2022 and 2023, a period where the side has won the Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup titles.
