Former Western Bulls assistant captain Allan Kasati is expected to take up the head coach role at the Kakamega Based side ahead of the new KRU Championship season.

In his message to Sigalgala members seen by Scrummage Africa , he stated that he was leaving the club for a new venture.
“Today, I’m writing this message with mixed emotions. I’m leaving Sigalagala RFC for a new venture, which leaves me in a state of sadness and excitement.
“Sadness because I’m leaving a club where I have spent most of my life. You taught me how to become a coach and a man. I would like to thank everyone at Sigalagala RFC management, Abnah Ijairu, Raphael Arnold, and the team captain Benjamin Brill, and the staff for your support in helping me develop over the years. Also, to the players and the fans, you have become my second family, and I will never forget all the great memories that we have created and shared together,” he revealed.

“However, I have been offered a fantastic opportunity that I couldn’t have turned down. Opportunities like this come very rarely, and I feel it’s time that I test myself in another environment,” he added.
“My Excitement is because of my new venture with Western Bulls. This is truly a club with intelligent ambition to build the club structures not only for the immediate future but beyond. This is an exciting time for Western Bulls. I believe timing is everything in life, and I believe this is a great time reconnecting with the team that was once home for my playing unit, and I am looking forward to the challenge of the championship,” he stated.
Kasiti has been part of the sigalagala coaching staff which has won back to back Western Region Nationwide title.
He is among coaches who received badges last season. He earned World Rugby Level II certification.
