Kenya Simbas change 5, Sifuna, Okola included in squad to face Uganda

Kenya Simbas technical bench has made five changes and a positional switch to the squad that will tackle Uganda in the Elgon Cup return leg on Saturday at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu County.

The coaches have brought John Kubu at fly-half with Barry Robinson retaining his place as the scrum-half. Paul Mutsami is back in the midfield as the inside centre and will partner with Bryceson Adaka who gets his third straight start as Walter Okoth drops out.

Kenya Simbas start Ashihundu

Derrick Ashihundu gets his first start since 2022 and will play on the left wing while Joel Inzuga is on the right side after impressing in the last two outings where he has backed a try each.

Brian Wahinya has been moved from fly-half to fullback. In the backrow Elkeans Musonye is back at number seven while Jeanson Misoga and George Nyambua retain their positions for the third game.

Eugene Sifuna who missed the trip to Uganda comes at hooker replacing his clubmate Teddy Akala. He joins the front row alongside Ephraim Oduor and Hillary Mwajilwa who started off the bench last weekend.
