Elgon Wolves, City Falcons name squad for Uganda 7s core status Qualifiers

Elgon Wolves RFC head coach Matono Thomas Obaja, has named a 13 men squad that will play in the Uganda 7s Core Status Qualifiers 2023 at the Kings Park Grounds on Saturday the 14th of October.

Katumba Mbithi Hamissi,  Eliphas Simiyu Khayemba, Magawa Twaili,  Aporu Derrick, Matono Thomas Obaja and  Katumba Mbithi Salim are part of Elgon Wolves squad.

Rubangakene Godfrey, Openy Alphones, Okello Brian, .Oirano Walter, Watmon Boniface, Opiyo Lawrence and Okello Ronnie form City Falcons squad.

The top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals, the winners of which will play finals.

The winner of the men’s and the top two of the women’s games will qualify for the 202 Uganda 7s Circuit.
