Daystar Falcons are the Federation of Africa University Sports-FASU Rugby 7s Champions after a 26-5 in a final played at Makerere University on Sunday.
The falcons landed four tries in the final and converted three while Kenya University’s Blak Blad conceded one try in the clash.

The win saw Daystar complete a double over their counterparts having beaten in the round robin phase.
To reach the final, Daystar won all their matches in the competition’s round robin phase by beating Kyambogo, Makerere I and II Kenyatta University, Victoria and USIU.
With six straight wins, they accumulated 18 points to top the round robin phase.

Kenyatta University, on the other, hand lost one match in round robin phase they got 15 points.
The competition had five sides USIU, Daystar, Victoria, Kyambogo and Makerere University which had two sides.
Makerere ladies teams won the women’s category.
