National 7s Circuit standings after Tisap 7s

Despite finishing sixth in Eldoret, Kabras RFC have held on to the top spot in the National 7s Circuit standings after five rounds.

Felix Ayange charges who missed a podium finish for the first time this season picked 12 points and have moved to 92 points.

They will have a tough task next weekend as they hope to hold on to the slim lead and end their six-year wait for the National 7s title.

KCB rugby have narrowed the gap to a point and will be hoping to topple Kabras next weekend and reclaim the title they last won in 2019.

KCB stay second in National 7s Circuit

The bankers also missed a podium finish and only got 13 points moving to 91 points.

Strathmore Leos kept their chances alive after another final appearance and they are now 10 points behind Kabras after another final appearance. The students are on 82 points.

Menengai Oilers are set to relinquish the title as the best they can achieve at the end of the season is 93 points. The Nakuru-based side has 71 points after five rounds.

Mwamba are fifth after a fourth-place finish in Eldoret while Kenya Harlequin are sixth with 66 points.

Tisap 7s Champions Nondies have 50 points while Nakuru have 49 points. Himeboyz and Kisumu close the top 10.

The teams will converge in Nairobi next weekend for the final leg of the National 7s campaign.
