Wanjala, Okwach named in KCB Rugby squad for Prinsloo 7s

KCB Rugby 7s head coach Andrew Amonde has released his squad that will be on duty in Nakuru for the Prinsloo 7s slated for Saturday and Sunday at Nakuru Athletic Club.

Amonde’s squad features some exciting additions, with Michael Wanjala making his maiden appearance in the National 7s Circuit this season. The team also boasts the talents of speedsters Geoffrey Okwach and Arthur Owira.

Rest of KCB Rugby squad

In addition to the new faces, the rest of the squad remains unchanged. Kenya 7s center, Edmund Anya, along with Levi Amunga, Bob Muhati, Festus Shiasi, Elvis Olukusi, and Bramwel Kilwake, have all secured their spots in the 13-man squad.

Completing the lineup are Austin Sikutwa, alongside captains Vincent Onyala and Samuel Asati, forming a formidable team for the tournament.

KCB Rugby has been placed in Pool C, alongside Kenya Harlequin, MMUST, and Blak Blad.

With an impressive collection of 39 points, KCB Rugby hold the second spot in the National 7s Circuit standings.

As they prepare for the Prinsloo 7s, the team is determined to continue their strong performance and compete fiercely for the top honors in the tournament.
