Kisii School win Kisii County 7s

Kisii School rugby emerged victorious in the Kisii County 7s term two games competition held at Nduru Boys High School.

The quarterfinal match saw Kisii School face off against Nyamagwa. With a powerful offensive strategy and a solid defence, Kisii School dominated the game, emerging triumphant with an impressive 42-5 win their favour.

Kisii School into Semis

In the semifinals, Kisii School continued their winning streak as they clashed with Igonga. The team’s relentless attack and impeccable defence left their opponents struggling to find a way through. The match concluded with a resounding victory for Kisii School, with a final score of 28-0 in their favour.

Kisii faced their last challenge against Cardinal Otunga High School, Mosocho. They proved their mettle once again, demonstrating their superior gameplay and securing a convincing 22-5 win for a ticket to represent Kisii County in the Nyanza regional games slated for July in Maranda high school, Bondo County.

In other news, Waa boys high school from Kwale County and Kaya Tiwi School will represent Kwale County in rugby 7s after qualifying.

Waa clinched their maiden Matuga sub-county 7s competition after finishing top in a round-robin format games staged at Kwale high school.

Defending champions Kaya Tiwi school qualified for county games by virtue of being runners-up.

The Kwale County games will be hosted at Lungalunga on 5th July.
